I know, I know… a mid-month blog post? Who even am I? Am I getting better at blogging more consistently???Ok, the truth is after a sweet little photo session last week, I just couldn’t wait until the end of the month to share.
This wasn’t your typical “everyone line up and smile” kind of shoot. My friend needed a few specific shots for a project she’s working on and also wanted randomness photos for a brand new venture she’s planning (so exciting!), so in between those planned frames, we went full day-in-the-life. No forced smiles. No stiff poses. Just their family, doing their thing.
And honestly? Not everything posed is bad, but you just can’t argue with the magic of genuine, in-the-moment photos. Like when Dad unexpectedly got home mid-outdoor kids and mom session, cue the squeals, giggles, and big hugs. You can’t fake that kind of joy.
It’s these everyday “little” moments that turn into the best memories. I’m so glad I got to be there to capture their chaos, their laughter, and their love in the middle of a perfectly “normal” day.
(Photos below, and yes, you’ll want to scroll all the way to the end.)

Until next time, keep finding the beauty in your own everyday chaos, because those little moments? They’re the big ones.
From my mudboots to yours,

It was so much fun, and we love the photos! Thanks so much!
