I’m based in Jenningston, WV, Tucker County, a quick 20-minute drive from Canaan Valley.
After moving here at the end of 2020, I took a three-year break from raising goats. Now, I’m back in the game with a new herd of Mini Nubians. With 25 years of experience, I’m excited to see what adventures await on the East Coast.
I prioritize quality over generations, as a higher generation doesn’t always mean superiority. Genetics, in my opinion, are paramount. It’s crucial to understand that being a purebred Mini Nubian doesn’t automatically ensure superior genetics. Ultimately, pedigree is the most significant factor.
I’m dedicated to nurturing my goats using holistic and natural methods. This includes delving into the benefits of the Mineral Buffet and incorporating herbs and essential oils into their care routine. I’m thrilled with the results I’ve seen—this kidding season marked the first time I didn’t need to administer Bo-Se injections to my kids! I’m dedicated to continual monitoring and research to further enhance this incredible approach to goat-raising.
